The weather was fine on October 1, 2017, so WCGN’s fall potluck business meeting was held in the Corsovers’ lovely back yard. The group voted in the officers for 2017-18. In addition to reports from the treasurer, the Zoning Committee, and the Garden Committee, the neighbors heard a summary of Darin Bielby’s plans for 224 West Tulpehocken (the former UU House). Discussion ensued but was curtailed as more appropriate for the Zoning Committee meeting scheduled for the next day. After celebrating the newly installed crosswalk at Wayne and Tulpehocken, the group discussed traffic problems on McCallum, especially between Tulpehocken and Walnut Lane. It proposed forming a committee to assess traffic issues in the neighborhood and formulate proposals for the city Streets Department.
