Growing Up In Germantown
The restoration of an early Mural Arts installation is happening right now in Center in the Park’s lot at 54-60 W. Rittenhouse Street. Painted on the side of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church’s Community Annex, after 21 years of the natural elements having eroded some of the mural’s details, work is being done to restore it to its original beauty. If you come by you, you may catch the artist herself, Ann Northrop, as she makes the finishing touches.
