Four Freedoms Tenants Association & WCGN Unite to Protest for a safer Walnut Lane!

Last Saturday May 3, about 25 residents of Four Freedoms and concerned WCGN neighbors protested for safer pedestrian and traffic access along the “raceway” that has become W. Walnut Lane between Wayne and Wissahickon Avenues.

For over 2 years, traffic studies have been made, surveys have been completed and the accidents are still happening. The State has signed off but the City continues to stonewall us all.

The next presentation is being held tomorrow at the Kendrick Recreation Center 5800 Ridge Avenue from 6:30 – 8pm. If you can’t make it, register your frustration here. Tell the City to get off the dime and complete the Walnut Lane Complete Streets Project now before more lives are lost or accidents occur.
